I went with my mom, who uses a cane, and it was easy for us to get around. The paths were wide enough, and the staff was helpful about pointing us toward the closer entrance. It did get crowded in a few spots, and there were some uneven areas near the displays, so we just took our time. Overall, it was good for accessibility. Not perfect, but we managed fine...

"Parking was surprisingly painless"
I went to the Philly Chinese Lantern Festival and was bracing myself for a parking nightmare, especially with the kids and that feeling of being trapped once you're stuck circling busy streets. But it ended up being way easier than I expected. We found a spot nearby quickly, the walk was short, and it made the whole night feel so much less stressful. I’d definitely go again.

"Such a night out ✨"
Went with my family and had such a nice time. Once it got dark, the lanterns were so beautiful, so many colors and tiny details everywhere. We spent a lot of time just walking around, taking pictures, and pointing out our favorite displays. It did get a little crowded in a few areas, but nothing that ruined the experience. The dragon and the flowers were definitely my favorites 😍 Such a cool thing to do at night in Philly.

"Annoyingly nice vibe, honestly"
I hate to admit it, but the place had a really cozy, fun atmosphere. Totally blamed them for making me stay way longer than I planned because the vibe was just that good

"Rain didn’t ruin our night"
It started raining during our plans, but they already had ponchos ready for us. Such a simple thing, but so useful and it made the whole night a lot easier.

"I was excited when I saw the lights..."
I was excited when I saw the lights because they looked really nice in person, but that excitement faded fast when I started taking pictures. Most of my photos came out awkward or just not as good as I hoped. It was still to walk around, but if you’re going mainly for photo spots, it might be a little disappointing

"The acrobat show was kind of a letdown"
I went mostly for the acrobat performances, and I was disappointed. It felt like they were over way too fast and a little rushed, like they were just trying to get through the acts. A few moments were cool, sure, but not nearly enough to make me feel like the ticket was worth it.

The kids had such a great time, so that made it worth it for us. It was a super easy family night out, no stress, no big planning, just showed up and enjoyed it. I mean, it wasn’t life-changing or anything, but we all left smiling, so yeah, great

We had a really nice night out with the kids. They loved the lanterns and the little activities, and overall it was an easy, relaxed evening. I just wish the instructions had been a bit clearer in a few spots, but we still had a great time.

"Felt stuck in the dark"
The paths were so dark I could barely see where I was walking. It made me feel kind of trapped, like I couldn’t just relax and find my way around comfortably.

"Restrooms Were Easy to Spot"
I had a good feeling about the setup right away because there were plenty of bathrooms around and they were easy to find. Didn’t really have to wait long either, which made the whole visit feel a lot smoother.

"Food prices were honestly too much"
The lanterns were really nice, and I’m not trying to complain just for the sake of it, but the food prices kind of ruined the experience for us. I get that festivals are usually more expensive, so I wasn’t expecting cheap food or anything, but the portions were small and the prices felt way over the top for what you actually got. We still had a good time overall, but next time I’d definitely eat before going

"Okay, I’ll admit it, fun for kids"
I wasn’t expecting to be too impressed, but the interactive exhibits were actually a lot of fun. The kids especially loved the ones they could touch, press, and play around with. A few areas got crowded, which was a little annoying, but overall it ended up being a really enjoyable night.

I had a good time at the lantern festival overall. The lights were really lovely and, I’d say, probably worth going to see. The only downside was that the line to get in felt longer than I expected, and the food lines were kind of slow too. Once we were inside, though, it was still a fun night. I’d probably go again, just maybe try to get there earlier next time.

"Beautiful lanterns, even if the crowds made it tough"
The lantern displays were really pretty, with so many little details that I wish I could’ve enjoyed them more. Some spots got so crowded that I felt like I barely had a chance to stop and take photos without being in someone’s way, which was kind of frustrating. Still, the lights and colors were gorgeous, and despite dealing with the crowds, it ended up being a fun night out.

"Getting in was easier than I thought it..."
Getting in was easier than I thought it would be. We had our tickets pulled up on our phones, and the staff scanned them really quickly. The line looked a little intimidating at first, but it kept moving, so it wasn’t bad at all. Security and check-in were straightforward, and everyone working there was friendly enough. With kids in tow, any confusion would’ve been totally avoidable stress, so I really appreciated how simple the whole process was.
